My name is Sarah, and I’m currently in my final year at university studying Biology. What excites me the most about my course is exploring the complexities of biological systems, especially the multi-step processes in cellular biology and ecology. I find these topics incredibly fascinating and thoroughly enjoy delving into different biological concepts. Having graduated from sixth form a few years ago, I know firsthand the pressures of sitting multiple exams to achieve final grades, especially during the pandemic. I truly understand the experience of being an A-level student and the importance of effective revision.
About My Sessions
My sessions will focus primarily on identifying each student’s specific needs, whether it’s learning new content, assistance with revision, or improving exam techniques. I believe that helping students achieve their goals requires active learning. This involves breaking down exam questions to understand what is being asked and encouraging students to attempt these questions independently. Additionally, I emphasize quizzing students on their subject knowledge and applying it practically, as I believe the application of knowledge is one of the most challenging yet crucial skills to develop.
